Waynesboro Municipal Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.
Waynesboro Municipal Golf Course first opened for play in 1958.
The course sits on rolling hills and has grass bunkers positioned on every hole. In addition, there are some sand bunkers protecting several greens. The greens are medium speed and sloped, and the fairways are mostly wide open with the exception of a few narrow holes. One of the nice features of this course is its three extra greens. These extra greens come into play on holes #6, #8, and #9, so when you play a double loop 18 holes, you may hit to different greens on these holes.
Blue tees: par-36, 2,850 yards
White tees: par-36, 2,704 yards
Gold tees: par-36, 2,235 yards
Red tees: par-36, 2,218 yards
The course closed in August 2018.
The entity operating the city-owned course shut the door and walked away leaving no notice to the city other than a closed note on the pro-shop door.

Municipal owned and lost $ for last few years. May close, and although not a primo course, it would be a shame to lose it. Great asset for those that need an affordable place in this area. Please do what you can to support Waynesboro Municipal.
